Challenges in Early Childhood

Education

Are you an early childhood centre manager / early learning director or leader looking for practical programs to overcome the many challenges in early childhood education? If so, you're in the right place.

At Parent Educator Partnerships we have designed our practical and cost-effective programs to address and overcome the issues centres face on a daily basis.

The challenges / issues in Early Childhood Education

  • Lack of adequate funding to attract and retain qualified staff, educator training and development and high quality educational resources.

  • Teacher shortages, overwhelm and high turnover rates make it difficult to prevent staff burnout, ensure minimum staff-student ratios are met and consistency in quality program development and delivery

  • Inadequate and costly Continuing Professional Development and staff training means many educators aren't able to access the research, teaching practices and resources that enable quality educational outcomes for all children.

  • Difficulty engaging parents and carers in their child's learning. We know that best outcomes are achieved when early childhood educators and parents work together to meet the unique needs of each child and support child wellbeing.

Ultimately, each of these challenges has a negative impact on the quality of the early childhood education program harming child development and wellbeing.

Parent Educator Partnerships program was specifically developed to provide a program that is:

  • Cost-effective and ongoing

  • Quality, easy-to-access continuing education program to resource  early childhood educators and staff to support the cognitive, social, emotional and psychological wellbeing of children in their care.

  • Educate and engage the early childhood centre's parent community in child development and wellbeing
